

Leadership at Hard Call Sales

In the years leading up to launching Hard Call Sales, I worked at one of Sweden’s largest appointment-setting companies – and after topping the revenue charts every month for over a year, I felt it was time to build something of my own. Together with Joakim, I started Hard Call Sales in January 2017, after we moved to Malta and rented one of the country’s largest villas as our office. The ambition was simple: to create a sales company with higher quality, more business focus – and a more enjoyable culture. Since then, we’ve booked tens of thousands of meetings, represented world-leading companies, and helped everyone from fast-growing tech startups to global enterprises reach the right decision-makers. Today, we combine traditional appointment setting with smart AI prospecting, through our partner LinkedClient – and we continue to refine our model every single day. When I’m not working, I train in Thai boxing, hit the gym, or spend time with my family. Fun fact: Over the past few years, I’ve invested more than 1.3 million SEK in Pokémon cards. So yes – there’s a nerdy side too.
Click on me to visit my LinkedIn. I've always been into business – even as a kid I was diving for golf balls to sell or collecting bottles at festivals when I was seven. I have no problem working seven days a week if that’s what it takes. It’s been a tough journey, but absolutely worth it. Before starting Hard Call Sales with Pontus in 2017, I worked a variety of sales jobs. My last role before we launched was in a factory, working 300 hours a month. The money was good, but it wasn’t sustainable. I don’t mind working hard – as long as it’s fun too. I’ve read over 100 books on sales, leadership, and personal development, and I love creating new ideas, executing on them, and watching the business grow. And I’m not afraid to sit down and smash out a full day of cold calls – you should never forget where you came from. Sales is fun when you win – and I love winning. That’s why I love sales. In my spare time, I spend time with my family, go on long walks with my dog Luna, train Muay Thai, or dive for moray eels. Fun fact: I’ve never lost a fight (despite being in more of them than I probably should have).
Click on me to visit my LinkedIn. I moved to Malta at the end of 2017 with a clear goal: to buy an apartment in Östermalm, Stockholm – no mortgage – before turning 25. After just six months working as a meeting booker at Hard Call Sales, I became the top performer with several months earning over 250,000 SEK in commission, and the goal started to feel very real. By mid-2023, it became a reality. The Östermalm apartment is now mine, and today I’m responsible for our client relations across Europe. I lead the Swedish office and focus on building new partnerships, developing key accounts, and closing deals. In my spare time, I love traveling, working out, and spending time with friends or family. Fun fact: I have an irrational fear of rats – and it’s not going away.

Along the way, I’ve taken on many different roles – stepping in wherever needed – but my passion has always been people. Today, I’m responsible for recruitment and HR. My focus is making sure our sales team has everything they need to succeed – and that the right people find their way to us. I’m passionate about building a strong culture, creating a sense of safety, and putting the structure in place to help our people perform and thrive. In my free time, I take care of my family, practice yoga, and love getting lost in a really good book. Fun fact: I can hold a plank for over 10 minutes (yes, I’ve tested it – and beat everyone in the company).

That includes helping someone get started with a new computer, onboarding new team members, integrating calendars and systems, or making sure our CRM, email setup, and internal tools run smoothly. I’m always on the lookout for new technical solutions that can help us work smarter – both internally and for our clients. I come from a sales background, which gives me a solid understanding of how everything connects. But I feel most at home in the technical space – where I get to support others and make sure everything just works. In my free time, I go for walks with my dog Nacho, play PC games with friends, or unwind with something creative. Fun fact: I’ve logged over 20,000 hours in Counter-Strike.

Since then, I’ve been fighting side by side with the team to bring in new business – and to make sure the salespeople have access to the best possible leads, so our clients get the best possible results. I’m a competitive person to my core and I hate losing. I thrive when things are happening – and when results can be measured in black and white. What I mainly took away from university is that reality doesn’t look like it does in the textbooks. Learning business from someone who has never run a company is about the same as paying for piano lessons from someone who has never played a piano. In my free time I spend time with my family, enjoy having a beer (or more) with friends, and relax with my little lapdog Smilla. Fun fact: I can eat over 10,000 calories a day and still keep my six-pack.
